Cyber Violence in Halton Region

Come out on Tuesday, May 31st for a free community forum to raise awareness about Cyber Violence and dispel Cyber Bullying and Internet Safety myths. Learn about community support services and how you can be safe on and off line.

Speakers will be holding discussions around:

-When is sexting consensual? What are the consequences of sending/forwarding sexual pictures?

-Is someone constantly messaging you to find out where you are and who you’re with all the time?

-Who has your password? Who has access to your online accounts and cell phone?

-Is someone spreading rumours about you online? Posting negative messages on your Facebook account?

-Is someone blackmailing you with embarrassing or damaging pictures or video?
